Answers:

1. Simply because that's where I live. The country side is very beautiful
and it is scattered with history if you know where to look.

2. I've had some of my photos online for a long time and I've never really
printed any of them before. There's been plans on making post cards etc.
but it never happened. So I thought I'd gather my own favorite shots in one
place and publish a book instead.

3. Not yet. Me and my partner have plans on starting up a photo studio
in Chesterfield, Derbyshire in a near future however.

4. Sure. If you are willing to travel, just contact me and I'm sure it can
be arranged somehow.

5. Yes.

6. I'm using a Nikon Coolpix 5700, and on occasion I also borrow my
partners Canon 300D.

7. Because digital is easier to store and it is also a much lower cost in
development. The digital cameras you can buy today are just as good as
any film camera.

8. It is available at Lulu.com, and soon also at Amazon.com. You can
also ask in bookstores if they can order it for you unless it's already on
the shelf. However, I suggest you buy it from me. It's cheaper ;)

9. Maybe. For now I'm putting together some of the computer generated
art that I've done since 2001. Then we'll see if I might dig deeper in my
backups and put together another book with photos as well.

10. I enjoy all kinds of photography, but I've always been fascinated by
macro photography. Animals are fun too since they are so unpredictable.

11. What's wrong with email? ;)

12. Yes and no. If you want to use any of my photos for non-commercial
purpose, send me an email and let me know about it. If you want to use
any of my photos for commercial use, you will need a written permission
from me and I expect credits where it is used.

13. Yes. Contact me and let me know which photo you are interested in
and we can discuss size and pricing.

14. I hope it will pay my bills for a while ;) Seriously, what I want to do
is to show you all how beautiful this place can be and what partly convinced
me to stay here.

15. From my perspective England are like most other countries. There's
both good and bad things. The positive things for me have been the
inspiration it serves and how it tickles my imagination as an artist. It is
very easy to imagine how these woods have been filled with knights in the
past and how they fought in the Civil war against each other. History is
whispering it's tales around every corner and there's mystery and beauty
even in old ruins.
The negative pieces would probably be the changeable weather most of all.
It can go from a clear blue sky and sunshine to rain within minutes, and it
can be difficult to plan anything outdoors.
But the beer is good...so who cares about the weather? ;)

16. If you are local it might be interesting to see places you recognize
from the perspective of a foreigner, or you might just be interested in what
the English country side has to offer. Maybe you're planning on coming
here...maybe you need a gift for someone who are interested in castles,
ruins and the history around them. Or you might just need some beauty
in your life. In any case, I hope you will enjoy it.
